Data Protection Declaration

The protection of your data is our concern

We are delighted at your interest in our company and our products and services and we would also like you to feel secure with respect to the protection of your personal data when visiting our website, because we take the protection of your personal data very seriously. Adherence to the regulations of the German Data Protection Act is for us a matter of course.

We would like you to know which data we collect, when we collect it and how we use it. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed not only by us, but also by external service providers commissioned by us.

Personal data

Personal data is information about your identity. It includes, for example, data such as name, address, telephone number and email address. It is not necessary for you to divulge your personal data in order to use our website. In certain cases, however, we require your name and address as well as further data so that we can render the desired services.

This applies, for example, to the sending of information material and goods that you have ordered, or for answering individual questions. We will inform you accordingly where this is necessary. Beyond that we store and process only data that you voluntarily place at our disposal and, where applicable, data that we automatically collect when our website is visited (see: ‘Data collected automatically when visiting our website’).

In cases where you use our services, we generally only collect such data as is necessary in order to render these services. Any further data that we ask for is supplied by you voluntarily. Personal data is processed exclusively for the fulfilment of the requested service and for the protection of our own justified business interests.

Purpose of the personal data

In general, we use the personal data supplied by you in order to answer your enquiries, to process your orders or to provide you with access to certain information or offers. For the maintenance of customer relations it may also be necessary for us or a service provider commissioned by us to use this personal data in order to inform you about product offers or to conduct online surveys in order to improve our handling of the customers’ tasks and requirements.

Naturally we will respect your decision, should you not want to provide us with your personal data for the support of our customer relations (in particular for direct marketing or for market research purposes). We will neither sell your personal data to third parties nor market it in any other way.

Use for a specific purpose

We will collect, process and use the personal data supplied by you online only for the purposes that you have been informed about. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

The collection of personal data and its transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information take place only in the context of the relevant laws or in the case that we are legally obliged to do so. Our employees and the service providers commissioned by us are committed by us to discretion and to adherence to the regulations of the German Data Protection Act.
